This oil is from the yellow flowers of a tree native to East India. Traditionally the flowers were infused to create a perfumed oil or word in the hair. The incense called Champa is almost certaintly synthetic. Used in perfumery, has a beautiful sweet fruity scent. Used in Hindu ceremonies to revere Vishnu.
