Peppermint hydrosol is a great digestive aid, easing intestinal distresses of all kinds. As a compress for the skin it treats inflammations such as acne and insect bites. A spray on the face really wakes you up. Very cooling for fevers and hot flashes. Although the water can be used more readily than the essential oil with much less concern and worry; use cautiously with young children.
