Linden Blossom

Linden is generally not available as a steam distillation, it may be found as a maceration. Linden is a sedative, a mild antispasmodic and carminative. Inhaling the oil is sedating and soothing for anxiety, migraines and insomnia. The cost means the oil is reserved for use drop by drop or smelled directly from the bottle.
Story goes that when Sagitarius was born, his appearance so distressed his mother that she turned herself into a Linden tree. There is another story wherein Zeus was so impressed with a man and woman that to grant them their wish to not be separated by death he turned them into an Oak and a Linden.
Placing a drop on your sleeping lovers forehead keeps them faithful.

Linden is very soft and delicate. Slightly fruity.
A distributor of mine says that when she first smelled this Linden, she said 'that's what heaven smells like!'
