“It has a honey sweet layer to it. Classic mint scent, but yummy and full and sweet smelling. Peppermint does have an application for every system of the body. It is used to restrict capillaries and relieve itching and inflammation of the skin. It encourages the skin to hold water. As an inhalant it is an antiseptic and decongestant. It relieves muscular aches and pains and aids in detoxifying the body when used in a massage or an alcohol rub. It increases the white blood cells and lymph flow and drainage. Is employed when detoxing from medicine or antibiotics. It is commonly used in oral preparations to reduce halitosis and to clean the mouth. It eases nausea, indigestion and cramps. One drop in a glass of water, sipped slowly, eases flatulence, belching and gas pains. In a diffusor it can be used in the sickroom to reduce a fever and to disinfect the air. A little at a time however, too much can induce nausea. Not to be used on infants or near the eyes
