Yarrow UK Wild Grown

This Yarrow is steam distilled from the flowering tops of plants wild grown in the UK. This oil has a high percentage of Azulene, greater than 3.5%. Because of that, I think that any blend you create will have greater efficacy . Azulene is anti-inflammatory and stimulates the granulation of tissue.

This brilliant blue oil is used on inflamed and sensitive skin. It promotes the healing of scars and wounds. As an additive to hair products, Yarrow promotes hair growth. Great results have been reported when used to treat cancers and tumors. Because the oil is so brightly colored, it really needs to be used when you will be at home for a few hours or used well diluted. It would be a great addition a facial oil to use on a daily basis if there is concern for a response to sun damage.
Used in energy work to establish boundaries.
Yarrow is a sesquiterpene and ketone. Researched examples show that the sesquiterpene alcohols are antiallergenic, stimulating to the liver and glands. They are anti-inflammatory and reduce congestion in veins and the lymph system. They are moderately antimicrobial. Ketones may be able to cross the blood-brain barrier easily or more readily than other molecules. Ketones dissolve fats are and potentially neurotoxic, causing seizures, liver damage and fatality. However... ketones stimulate cell and tissue regeneration, and are mucolytic. Ketone containing essential oils should only be used by well informed individuals.
