Almond Oil

Prunus amygdalus var. dulcis
Cold pressing of the almond kernels. Totally unrefined. Slightly toasty smell, great taste.
Grown and pressed in Northern California.
Almond oil is suitable for all skin types. It relieves itching and dryness. Use to treat inflammation or injured skin in an ointment or as a delivery for herbal medicine, i.e., essential oils or herbal infusion. Although there is little evidence that vegetal oils pass through the skin we do know that trans-dermal absorption is happening - we expect it to, we expect that the oil or lotion we apply will 'soak in'. We might as well be applying something that we would be willing to ingest.
Almond Oil does go rancid, store it well and it should be good for 9-12 months.
Some magic reference material suggest using almond oil to anoint a magic wand.
